Testing - European 6-level scale
Assessment for our courses is linked to an international six-level scale established by the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE) and used for a wide range of European languages.
A1Breakthough level |
A2Elementary LevelBasic command of the language needed in a range of familiar situations. |
B1Lower Intermediate LevelLimited but effective command of the language in familiar situations. |
B2Upper Intermediate LevelGenerally effective command of the language in a range of situations. |
C1Lower Advanced LevelGood operational command of the language in a wide range of real-world situations. |
C2Upper Advanced LevelFully operational command of the language at a high level in most situations. |
